| November 2008 |
| Curatorial research is proceeding for a retrospective of Aaronel’s photographic work by Linda Benedict-Jones and Graham Shearing. The show will be held at the Silver Eye Center of Photography, March 18 – June 27, 2009.
Filmmaker Ken Love is producing a film on Aaronel and her life’s work in painting, sculpture and photography to be released early 2009.

| Aaronel exhibited two photographic pieces in the 97Th Annual Exhibition of the Associated Artists of Pittsburgh at the Carnegie Museum of Art. This year, the AAP Annual was exhibited alongside an exhibit of AAP works entitled, "The Popular Salon of the People," to reflect the roots of the Annual. The exhibit included the work of AAP artists from throughout the 97 years since the organization was founded. Aaronel’s Plexiglas sculpture "Spherical Plateaus" was included in this exhibit along with works by Andy Warhol, John Kane, Philip Pearlstein, Jonathan Borofsky, Henry Koerner, Diane Samuels and many others. |
